Karibu East-AfricaDay 01 - Arrival in Kampala (Uganda)
You fly to Kampala the capital of Uganda. You land at Entebbe airport. From here we take you to your hotel in Entebbe where you can rest from your journey. Overnight Entebbe hotel (Bed & Breakfast)

Day 02 - Kampala – Town Tour (Uganda)
Today you will visit Kampala for a city tour. Kampala is a vibrant city. It is said to be built on seven hills. You visit the Owino market, the handicraft village and the Uganda museum. Overnight Blue Mango hotel where you can take a dip in the swimming pool (Bed & Breakfast).

Rafting at the NileDay 03 - Jinja – the Source of the Nile (Uganda)
After breakfast you drive to Jinja also known as the source of the Nile. The White Nile is unquestionably one of the biggest run rivers anywhere in the world. You can choose to go white water rafting or to do a easierboat float. This 1 day rafting trip introduces you to the first 30km of the Nile, starting with easy grade 1-2 rapids and gradually working up to giants such as Total Gunga and "The Bad Place". In the late afternoon we go back to Kampala. Overnight Blue Mango hotel (Breakfast & Lunch).

Day 04 - Kampala - Bwindi (Uganda)
An early morning start from Kampala takes you southwest and across the Equator. Crossing the equator where we will stop for an hour to experience the great geographical line. You drive through savannah grassland seeing banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle with their incredibly long curving horns. You then ascend into the Kigezi highlands, known as the "Switzerland of Africa", with terraced farming and mountain scenery. Drive through to Bwindi (10hr drive). Overnight in lodge or banda (Bed & Breakfast).

Gorilla trackingDay 05 - Bwindi – Gorilla Tracking (Uganda)
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is located in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the western rift valley covering 331 sq.kms. About half the world's population of 600 mountain gorillas reside in Bwindi. After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide, enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular. The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisis-crossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored. Many find it to be a rare and moving opportunity. Overnight in lodge or banda.

Day 06 - Bwindi (Uganda) – Bukoba (Tanzania)
We pick you up from Bwindi after breakfast to drive to Bukoba in Tanzania. In Masaka we stop at hotel Bravad for lunch. We reach the border crossing into Tanzania at Mutukura. After this we will cross the border to Tanzania. Arrive in Bukoba in the end of the afternoon. Overnight in traditional bandas at Kiroyera Campsite at the beach over looking the great Lake Victoria.

Traditional musicDay 07 - Community Tour Bukoba (Tanzania)
Bukoba is a small bustling typical Africa town with an attractive waterside setting. Today you will do a community walk trough Bukoba town, you visit the local market, a school, a church, the museum and a drum-making workshop run by disabled people. After lunch you will have a boat cruise to the majestic Musila island. You visit the fishing community on the island and view the amazing bird life on and around the island. Overnight Kiroyera Campsite.

Day 08 - Bahaya Cultural Tour – Bukoba (Tanzania)
After Breakfast we drive through banana and coffee farms to rocks with Ancient painting in and a Religious shrine, known as the Lourdes of Africa. We stop at Kihilila Gera waterfall where we will learn how to prepare a traditional Haya (tribe) meal. You can see how orphans create local crafts and enjoy the tribal dancing if you wish you can join and dance. After the lunch and entertainment we drive through banana and coffee farms to the Ancient Rock painting and a Religious shrine, known as the Lourdes of Tanzania. You overnight in a beautiful guesthouse in this village and experience the local village life. Overnight Mugana guesthouse (Breakfast & Lunch).

Day 09 - Bukoba (take the ferry to Mwanza)
This morning there is a free programme, you can walk in to the village and visit a school and the market or just relax in the guesthouse and watch life go bye and enjoy the beautiful view. In the afternoon we drive to Bukoba, where in the evening you take the night ferry over Lake Victoria to Mwanza. Overnight Night ferry.

SerengetiDay 10 - Mwanza – Serengeti (Tanzania)
Early in the morning you arrive in Mwanza. We pick you up from the ferry. Today your wildlife safari starts in Serengeti National Park. It is the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world and boasts many species of plain animals from hare to the elephant. The name Serengeti comes from the Masai word “Siringet” referring to an endless plain. Drive to Serengeti National Park, along with picnic lunch boxes. Game drive in the Serengeti National Park, Overnight at Wildlife Lodge or campsite in Serengeti (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 11 - Serengeti – Ngorongoro (Tanzania)
Breakfast at the lodge or campsite. Morning game drive in Serengeti. After lunch we drive to Ngorongoro. On the way you can stop at a Masai village or at the Olduvai Gorge where anthropologists Louis and Mary Leakey made many significant discoveries, contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa. Overnight at Wildlife Lodge or campsite in Ngorongoro (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

SerengetiDay 12 - Ngorongoro Crater (Tanzania)
Ngorongoro, often described as one of the wonders of the world, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, it is a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is also one of the few places one can see the rare black rhino in their natural setting. Descend into the crater floor for a crater tour early evening ascend the crater and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. Overnight Lake Manyara Hotel (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 13 - Lake Manyara National Park (Tanzania)
Lake Manyara is a small and beautiful park at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park boasts tree-climbing lions. Apart from this there are several different types of forests with a variety of fauna including hippos, baboons, buffaloes, leopards, giraffes, elephants, zebra, monkeys and a large variety of birds including flamingoes. Early evening, drive to Arusha. Overnight L'Oasis Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch).

Day 14 - Free Day in Arusha (Tanzania)
Today there is no programme. You are free to go shopping in Arusha or just relax at the swimming pool of L’Oasis. Overnight L’Oasis Lodge (Bed & Breakfast).

ZanzibarDay 15 - Arusha (Tanzania) – Zanzibar
After breakfast you fly to Zanzibar. Today we will show you Stone Town on our Historical Stone Town Tour. This tour takes you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to have stood still. With visits to the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum (People's Palace), Dr Livingston's House and the Arab Fort amongst others, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar. You will see Zanzibar's bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals and countless mosques! Overnight Hotel in Stone Town (Breakfast)

Day 16 - Stone Town (Zanzibar)

We pick you up for a drive to the Northern part of the Island where you will do a Spice Tour on the way. You’ll be invited to taste many of the spices, herbs and fruits that the island produces. The Spice Tour is also the cheapest place to purchase spices and spice oils. Overnight at a hotel on the Northern beach (Bed & Breakfast).

ZanzibarDay 17, 18, 19, 20 - Beach (Zanzibar)

Transfer to Northern beach for a stay at accommodation at the beach. Relax and enjoy the beaches of Zanzibar. There is a wide range of water sport activities you can do, like snorkeling, scuba diving, boat trips and more. Overnight hotel at Northern beach (Bed & Breakfast).

Day 21 - Fly back home
Transfer to Zanzibar Airport for flight back home. You have arrived as our guests and now leaving as our friends. Have a happy journey! Your footprints will still remain in East Africa long after you have left.
