We can organise half and full day guided tour of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s largest and richest city, or its surrounding historic and natural landmarks.

A full day tour of Dar es Salaam is USD$60 per person for groups of 50 people or more; a half day tour is USD$45 per person. Special rates for groups of 200 plus are also available. The price includes transport, an English/German speaking guide, entry fees and a bottle of drinking water.

HALF DAY TOUR: CITY TOUR 1

A visit to the National Museum, Botanical Gardens and historic monuments offer an insight into Tanzanian history and cultural heritage. Travelling along its coast you will have spectacular views of the Indian Ocean and visit the busy Kivukoni fish Market.

HALF DAY TOUR: CITY TOUR 2

You will visit Mnazimmoja and Kariakoo Market to get the feeling of being part of an African city away from the tourist trail! You can haggle with the friendly market traders for local produce and goods before visiting our National Sports Stadium.

FULL DAY TOUR: HISTORY & CULTURE

This tour takes in the University of Dar-es-Salaam, Mlimani City Shopping Mall, the Village Museum and Mwenge Craft Market. You will enjoy a panoramic view over the city and get a real feel of its size and diversity. After visiting the only shopping mall in Tanzania you will visit the local craft markets where you will meet some of our most talented residents from whom you can pick up a unique African souvenir to remember your visit.

FULL DAY TOUR: BEACH & WILDLIFE

We will take you out of town to see the wildlife of Africa at Dar es Salaam's Zoo before travelling out to Kigamboni beautiful beaches.
