Burigi Chato National Park Tour

Burigi Chato National Park is situated near Lake Victoria in northwest Tanzania close to the border of Rwanda. Surrounded by beautiful lakes and the Kagera river, it is the 3rd largest park in Tanzania and a place that friends and families love to visit! It is home to a wide diversity of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, leopards, zebras and giraffes; and it also has some rare species of birds including fish eagles, papyrus ganolek, and the shoebill stork.

It is a firm favourite with domestic tourists and we were honoured to join the Regional Commissioner of Kagera, Brigadier Marko Gaguti, on an exciting and informative group tour of the park. The park is easily accessible from Bukoba, Mwanza or Chato airports, from which we can arrange a pickup, transfer and tour of the area.
