Venture out to the more remote and tantalising Western Circuit

The Western Circuit embraces the parks along the iconic Lake Tanganyika, the western border of Tanzania with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This more remote location makes the circuit well worth a visit and its less commercialised National Parks will not disappoint - Katavi, Rubondo, Mahale and Gombe made famous by Jane Goodall’s research on its chimpanzee population and subsequent habituation - a 'must do' African experience!
