Bukoba is a small bustling typical Africa town with an attractive waterside setting and home to the indigenous Haya people. We visit Bukoba and Kagera Museums where you will see Gold relics, photographs, art and Haya tools used by our great grand parents. We next visit a workshop where you will see how African drums are made by our inspirational disabled residents. The tour will proceed to the Bukoba view point passing through areas of community interest including local schools and churches.

You will get a flavour of the Kagera region as we travel through banana and coffee plantations to the tranquil Rubare pine forest and waterfalls. We visit a special u-shaped cave in which you will need to crouch down to properly explore its beauty (you will receive a certificate for your achievement)! Enjoy a picnic lunch box at the Kyamunene waterfalls before visiting the local Vanilla Farm. The tour finishes back in Bukoba at 17:30hrs, after which you will have the option to stay on and relax at Kiroyera Beach Site for a fresh fish or BBQ supper!
