You will fly to Kampala (the capital of Uganda) for the start of your Tanzania Safari Adventure! We will meet and greet you on arrival and take you on to your hotel to rest after your journey.

An early morning start from Kampala takes you southwest and across the Equator into Tanzania. We arrive in Bukoba at the end of the day to overnight at the beach hotel over looking the ironic Lake Victoria.

Bukoba is a small bustling African town with an attractive waterside setting. You will take a number of guided tours to get a real insight into the Kagera region, its community and heritage including: the Maruku Ancient Iron technology site and Kanazi palace; Kyamunenewater falls and rock paintings of Mugana; and an invitation to sample traditional Bahaya food and dancing.

You will take a short flight or overnight ferry to Mwanza. Visit the Bujora Museum and see traditional Sukuma dance.

After breakfast you will drive into the Serengeti National Park for a full day’s game drive – anticipate seeing elephants, giraffe’s, lions, zebra and (pending time of year) the Great Wildebeest Migration.

An early morning Balloon Safari across the Serengeti will give you a spectacular start to the day. After brunch a second game drive you will leave for Ngorongoro via ‘the cradle of civilisation’, Olduvai Gorge. Ngorongoro is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and is a natural sanctuary for one of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places you can see the rare black rhino in their natural setting. After an overnight stay on the crater rim you will descend to the crater floor for a truely extraordinary game drive before leaving for Tarangire.

After breakfast, a picnic lunch game drive in Tarangire will be followed by an afternoon drive into Moshi – arriving in good time to see Mount Kilimanjaro (cloud permitting!).

After a morning visit to the scenic Marangu Waterfalls you will depart from Moshi airport to Zanzibar.

Your visit to this exotic island will include: a guided tour of historic Stone Town; a visit to a Sasic women’s craft cooperative and Mrembo Spa; a trip to Prison Island; and Kijichi Spice and Botanical tour. On transferring to the coast you will visit women at a seaweed farming project in Paje before taking an inspirational dolphin trip. A stay at Fumba, a traditional fishing village, allows for sunbathing and experiencing the beautiful menai conservation area.

Depart after breakfast from your beach hotel to the Airport. You arrived as our guest and leave as our friend. Have a happy journey! Your footprints will remain in Africa long after you have left.
